Southeast Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri until 4 a.m. Sunday. This includes Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln.
Those hoping to head to Sherman Reservoir in central Nebraska this weekend to do a little boating are out of luck.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says the reservoir's low water level during this summer of record drought means there are no operational boat ramps at the lake near Loup City. The commission says the water level has also dropped at Merritt Reservoir near Valentine in north-central Nebraska, but boat ramps still are operational there.
Game and Parks officials say boaters planning trips to irrigation reservoirs should call ahead to determine the status of boat ramps.
