Toilet paper, laundry detergent, and socks are all items many take for granted.
However, at the Siena/Francis House, they're all greatly appreciated.
After an inter-office competition, First Data had a big delivery for the shelter Thursday.
Inside several trucks were more than 22,000 rolls of toilet paper, 50,000 ounces of laundry detergent, and 750 pairs of socks.
The shelter says it means a lot.
“This is huge. We use so many supplies each month, it's just we have an incredible need, this is going to help us for quite a length of time into the future,” says Mike Saklar, Executive Director of Siena/Francis House.
There are as many as 470 men, women, and children currently at the shelter.
This is the fourth year First Data has had the competition.
