A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Pawnee and Richardson counties in southeast Nebraska until 3 p.m. Thursday.
A new development is well underway in Papillion. It's the Shadow Lake Square, located at 72nd and Schram in Sarpy County.
One building will serve as business offices on the lower level, and living spaces on the top level. It's a sign of the evolution of the area.
“The business community is expanding, and with that, comes a different type of person that wants to live, and have a variety of different places to live. They want parks, they want single family housing, they want multi-family housing, and so the developers are bringing it to them," said Wendy Richey, President of the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce.
The 29 million dollar project will be done in three phases. The first is expected to be completed in November.
