The man known to a generation of Americans as "The Science Guy" will headline the first ever Nebraska Science Festival set for April in Omaha.
Bill Nye, a mechanical engineer and star of the popular 1990's TV show "Bill Nye The Science Guy" will be at Joslyn Museum's Witherspoon Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m. on April 12th.
The program is free, but requires a ticket. Details are on the Nebraska Science Festival website.
The festival is scheduled for April 12th-14th and will feature science and technology related activities at The Durham Museum in Omaha and other locations, including the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and The Strategic Air and Space Museum.
