Don't sleep smoothly? The topics of snoring and sleep apnea will take center stage at a Science Cafe event set for September 16th.

Ronald Attanasio, D.D.S., is the featured speaker.

He is a professor and director of the TMD and orofacial pain section in the department of adult restorative dentistry at the UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln

Dr. Attanasio will explain what contributes to snoring and sleep apnea, the consequences, and treatment options.

Dr. Attanasio is an expert on the subject. He has even published a textbook. 'Dental Management of Sleep Disorders' is the first text of its kind to focus on the role of the dental office as part of a medical team for the treatment of sleep disorders.
