School Districts Sued Over Fan's Football Game Injury

A Fremont woman is suing two Nebraska school districts, claiming she was injured by a large video camera that fell out of a press box as she watched a high school football game in Lincoln in 2010.

Jennifer Boothe is suing Lincoln Public Schools and the Papillion-La Vista School District. In the lawsuit filed in Lancaster County District Court, Boothe's attorney Timothy Dowd says she was injured at a game at Seacrest Field between Lincoln Southeast and Papillion-La Vista South.

Dowd says Boothe suffered physical and mental injuries. He says both school districts are liable because Papillion-La Vista was using the press box and Lincoln Public Schools owns it.
