Much needed rainfall moved in on Saturday morning. The most came down to the southeast of the metro. Lincoln received just under one inch and Omaha only received .16 of an inch.
Rainfall is right around normal in Omaha for the month which is 1.90 inches. Despite that, extreme drought continues across the majority of eastern Nebraska. Drought conditions are forecast to either be ongoing or improve some through June.
A spotty shower can't be ruled out late Saturday night. There's a slightly better chance for rain then snow showers late on Easter evening. After that, the forecast appears dry and warmer through next weekend.
