The Salvation Army continues helping the less fortunate beat the heat.
We've been telling you about their cooling stations all week.
At the location off 36th and Cuming, they still have some fans to offer.
The fan program lasts until September 6th, and the charity believes it has enough to last until then.
However, it says it's always asking for donations just to make sure everyone who needs help, has it.
“A lot of people, we've heard, that their air conditioning units have broken down. A lot of people don't have units. A lot of people live in the high rise towers, and they don't have central air there,” says Tiffanie McCowin, of the Salvation Army.
The Omaha area Salvation army has given out around a thousand fans this summer.
