The Nebraska Department of Revenue’s Net Taxable Sales Report, comparing January 2012 to January 2011, shows Cass County with a 4.0% sales increase to $7,519,723. In the Plattsmouth city limits, January sales were up 2.3% to $3,496,402.
(The December ’11 report had Cass County with a 0.4% sales increase and Plattsmouth with a 3.8% increase from a year earlier.)
The Cassgram shows that statewide, January 2012 taxable sales were 6.6% higher than in 2011.

---The NDR’s January Net Taxable Motor Vehicle Sales Report said Cass County recorded a 3.4% increase when compared to the same month in 2011. Taxable motor vehicle sales totaled $4,464,289.
The statewide vehicle sales report showed a 19.2% increase when compared with January of the previous year.
