Officials say the show will go on for the Omaha Symphony after an SUV crashed through the front windows of the Holland Performing Arts Center early Saturday morning.
Witnesses told police the vehicle was driving erratically when it crashed into a minivan and then veered through the glass and into the building's main staircase around 2:30 a.m.
Two people in the minivan were taken to the hospital, their injuries not thought to be serious. The driver of the SUV was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
Structural engineers were called in to assess the damage. It’s believed everything is still safe. The windows will be boarded up until they can be replaced.
