A fight between two roommates took an ugly turn when one of them allegedly threw a lit grill at the other.
Omaha firefighters and police were called to 9th and Frances around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. 26-year-old Daniel Reeves told officers his roommate, 32-year-old Daniel McCabe, threw a lit grill at him, while inside their residence, causing the home to catch fire. It took only a matter of minutes for the fire to be put out.
McCabe was arrested for felony assault and arson. Reeves suffered burns on his legs and arms.
