Two months later June 9, my horse fell with me in Crosby, Texas. Shattered my pelvis, broke two toes, fractured two vertebrates in my back. I was in a wheel chair for four months, three months of rehab before I got back on. Got back on. Started out the first of the year and was slow, and my horse just stayed underneath me, and next thing I knew I won Nampa, Idaho; I won Cheyenne, Wyoming; and Ellensburg, Kan. I get to Omaha and I won the first round at Omaha!"
