Omaha police are investigating at least 10 robberies believed to be connected. On Wednesday, police said they've made an arrest in one of those cases.
Thirty-year-old Mark Anderson is now behind bars. Police arrested him for robbing a Cubby's convenience store. "It would be really nice to get them off the street and make business safe and secure," Jiwan Guragain said.

Guragain manages Omaha Liquor and More on 50th and Grover. His store was robbed in July, too. "We were traumatized and we just thought about closing the store for awhile."
Police believe Guragain's robbery may be connected to the one Anderson was arrested for. However, Anderson is only being charged for the one robbery.
Regardless, Guragain has taken measures to protect his store. "Then we put up a magnetic lock, cameras outside and inside."
Now, anybody who stops by at night has to ring the doorbell because there's a magnetic lock inside keeping the shop safe. "Which kind of worked because they tried to come back again and tried to pull the door and couldn't get in," Guragain said.
Police are following every lead they get, but could always use help. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 402-444-7867.
