Robbery Cases Believed Related

Authorities are investigating a couple of robberies that they believe are related. A gas station and a convenience store were the targets.

In addition, police believe the suspect might have also been involved in an attempted robbery at a third metro business.

One of the robberies happened June 14 at Bucky's Express, 3052 South 84th Street. The other involved the Kum & Go at 4443 South 84th. That was on June 6. The attempted robbery took place June 6 at the Quick Trip located at 6045 L Street.

In the Bucky's incident, an employee told police that he was buffing the floor when he first noticed the man who was about to rob him. The man walked in with a shotgun, demanded money and left on foot.

Authorities say they think all three cases involved the same man.

If you have information about any of the incidents, contact police.
