Authorities have plucked a man from the Missouri River in a water rescue near the Ameristar Casino. He's been arrested.
The subject was reported to be 150 yards from the casino and was eventually located in the water.
After being pulled aboard the rescue boat, the man objected to being taken to Council Bluffs.
Rescue crews began heading to Omaha's Dodge Park but then redirected to Iowa.
When he was taken ashore, he was in handcuffs. He was reportedly being chased by a DCI officer and jumped into the river to escape. A woman who was with him was also taken into custody.
The man was not immediately identified.
