A Waterloo, Nebraska steakhouse will soon be nationally known. A camera crew from the Travel Channel stopped by Farmer Browns Wednesday night to get a taste of the heartland.
They were filming for a segment called Food Paradise, which profiles some of the country's tastiest food. “It's a little nerve-racking,” said Farmer Browns' Steve Stenglein. “I don't know how a lot of these places do it, but it was an interesting process.”
The biggest challenge was having the waiters stay away from the tables being filmed, otherwise it got crowded fast, a case of "too many cooks in the kitchen."
The restaurant, located at 2620 River Road Drive, doesn't know when the special will air.
