Residents Escape From Waverly House Fire

Residents have escaped safely from a fire in the living room of a house in Waverly.

Firetrucks were dispatched about 9 p.m. Saturday. Authorities say the fire started behind a fireplace and spread into the living room.

The fire cause is being investigated. Damage is estimated at
$70,000.
