For the second time in three days, rescue crews on both sides of the Missouri River were called out Saturday afternoon to search for a man who had reportedly fallen out of boat.
A caller to 911 just after 5 p.m. said a man had fallen out of a boat and was struggling in the water near the Ameristar Casino. Once crews arrived at the scene they began checked up and down the river as well as along the banks. They determined the man had managed to get back into the boat and was no longer in danger.
Crews were also called to the river Thursday afternoon when a suicidal person was on the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge and was threatening to jump. After about an hour he climbed back over the railing.
