Rescue call could lead to jail.
Scott Tingelhoff, Saunders County Attorney, reports Jedd Lofgren and Joe Shultz were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class IV Felony, which has a maximum sentence of up to 5 years imprisonment. He is scheduled to appear in the Saunders County Court for a District Court Arraignment on February 4, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.
An officer with the Wahoo Police Department responded to a rescue call. After an investigation was conducted, it was discovered that Joe Shultz had illegally possessed and injected a prescription medication. Lofgren at the scene and the officer discovered that he also had illegally possessed and injected a prescription medication. There were several items of drugs, syringes and associated equipment that were seized.
