Repairs Begin At Gerald Ford Birthsite

It was back in August when a driver lost control of an SUV, crashed into the Gerald Ford birthsite, damaged the structure, and critically injured a passenger.

After several months, the city has finally brought in a crew for repairs.

Workers have been seen outside the gardens, repairing the damaged wall and gate.

The parks and rec department says it has taken some time to get the project underway.

After organizing the resources, it says Friday's weather was suitable enough to get work going.
