Omaha police were dispatched to check out a report of a reckless driver, but they ended up arresting the man on more than half a dozen charges, including possession of an unregistered gun.
Just before six o'clock Wednesday evening, officers spotted 32-year-old Brady Reed in the area of Florence Boulevard and Sahler Street. They say the driver pulled into a driveway at 16th and Manderson and ran inside. He was carrying something in his hand.
According to police, Reed ran out of the back of the house a short time later. He was arrested and officers found a gun inside the home.
Brady was booked for reckless driving, obstructing law enforcement, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, no proof of insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no valid registration.
