The latest technology in the real estate world was on display Friday.
More than 150 real estate experts from 12 states gathered at Champions Run for Omaha’s first-ever REbarcamp. That’s the real estate’s version of the barcamp which is a workshop for networking and sharing information.
It was an open forum where experts shared their own developments like going paperless, phone apps, and getting the best use out of one's website.
It's a big deal to bring so many ideas right here to Omaha.
Organizer Jacy Riedmann said, “Not every realtor gets to go to national, and there's so many good ideas, and so much engagement that can happen out there that when we can bring it back and have it in Omaha, we just grow that much faster."
REbarcamps have been growing on the east and west coast for several years. Friday’s camp in Omaha was the first one in the Midwest.
