The video of the incident involving Omaha police has captured the attention of one man. Robert Wagner was in a similar situation outside Creighton University Medical Center two years ago.
It was May 2011 when security cameras recorded images of Wagner being taken down by police. In court, Wagner did admit to punching one of the officers, but he said police methods vary by location.
"We're policed two different ways. Everything east of 72nd, it's a whole other ballgame and people continue to be mistreated."
Wagner stopped by Friday night to see the family involved in the latest altercation with Omaha officers. Second district city council candidates or their representatives were also present.
