A quick storm dumped heavy rain in the metro Wednesday morning. At one point, Saddle Creek Road experienced some minor flooding.
Saddle Creek in Midtown is infamous for becoming a raging river after heavy rain. Areas of the city easily saw an inch of rain fall in a short amount of time. 911 received several calls of other problems, including water coming out of manholes. Police were responding to 24th & Burt where a manhole cover was reported blown out.
