A quick change artist swindled a Radio Shack clerk out of $150 and a package of batteries valued at $2.60.
The clerk called officers after a man handed him $50 to pay for the batteries. He then quickly grabbed the bill and replaced it with a $100 bill.
Several interactions later, including asking for change, the clerk advised the customer that he had to close out the drawer and make sure it was accurate. That is when the man quickly left the store.
The count on the register drawer revealed it to be $150 short.
