The casual-dining franchise Quaker Steak & Lube announced a development agreement with Bosselman Food Services Inc. to open two locations in Nebraska and one in Iowa, which will mark the brand's entrance into Nebraska.
Bosselman plans to open one Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant per year in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Based in in Grand Island, Bosselman said it has identified North Platte, Lincoln, Grand Island-Hastings-Kearney, Omaha and Des Moines as potential development sites of their Quaker Steak & Lube restaurants. It is owned by Bosselman Cos., founded in 1948, a privately held company with more than 1,200 employees and operations in 24 states.
Bosselmans owns convenience stores, truck stops, motels, restaurants, coffee shops and the Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team.
