Public Pianos Getting Water Damage

Three of the ten public pianos in the Play Me I'm Yours public art project are out of service due to water damage.

Weekend storms ruined the public pianos in Memorial Park and at the base of the pedestrian bridge at Lewis and Clark Landing in Omaha. The piano in Bayliss Park in Council Bluffs is also out of commission due to water but overspray from the parks fountain is the suspected culprit in it's demise.

Even so there are still seven operable pianos spread around the city, out in the open for anyone to play. The location of the remaining pianos can be found here.
