A protest was held at Bryan High School Wednesday afternoon; it comes nearly a month after a 17-year-old was cited for allegedly getting into a fight with a school resource officer.
Robert Wagner's group was behind the protest. They believe the police officer involved in the incident went too far and shouldn't have handled the teen with such force.
On February 14, Kevin Tucker was supposed to go to the Principal's Office, but instead police said he got upset with the School Resource Officer in the school entrance, between two doors. During the altercation, the teen hit his head on the glass door, causing the glass to shatter.
Tucker's mother told WOWT 6 News her son is not allowed back at school, at this time. She added that he has a court hearing on March 25 will determine whether Tucker should officially be expelled.
