Prosecutors have filed their intent to appeal the sentences handed down to a 55-year-old Lincoln man for drunken driving.
Fifty-five-year-old William Parminter had pleaded no contest to
third-offense and fourth-offense drunken driving.
Last week District Judge Robert Otte of Lancaster County gave
Parminter 12-to-18 months on the third offense, 12-to-24 months on
the fourth offense. They are to be served at the same time.
The Lancaster County Attorney's Office on Tuesday filed notice that it intends to appeal the sentences as excessively lenient.
