The Nebraska Department of Revenue reminds property owners that valuation protests must be filed by Monday, June 30th.

If there was an increase or decrease to the assessed valuation of property from 2013 to 2014, the county assessor was required to send a notice of valuation change to the property owner by June 1st. If a change of valuation notice was not received and there was a change in value, contact your county assessor.

Property owners who disagree with the assessed value amount may file a protest in person or by mail with the county clerk in the county where the property is located.

County contact information may be found at revenue.nebraska.gov/PAD.
