A young man convicted of fondling himself and grabbing a woman outside a West Omaha Jazzercise class will spend years in prison for the crime.

A judge sentenced Glenn Nickerson to 4-5 years for False Imprisonment. He was also sentenced for two cases of assaulting corrections officers.

All together, he was sentenced to 6-9 years in prison. Under the good time law, he'll be eligible for parole in 3.

This all happened near 120th & Center in June of 2013. Just days after the crime, a witness told WOWT 6 News the man was waiting outside a class early in the morning.

She saw him following another woman.

"I yelled - don't go after her. Get away from her. And he just went faster, he just started to run after her."

A realtor nearby heard the screams and came to help.

"All of the sudden I heard this woman screaming and I went out and they were tustling with one another and I just charged at that guy," Jeff Matney told WOWT 6 News.

Nickerson got away, but police found him hours later near 120th & L.

Nickerson's criminal history includes a conviction of 3rd Degree Sexual Assault.
