A former catering manager of Lincoln hotel has been sentenced to two to four years in prison for stealing from the hotel.
The Lincoln Journal Star reports that 43-year-old Rose Castor was sentenced last week in Lancaster County District Court.
Police say Castor stole more than $5,000 from her employer over three years.
Holiday Inn Downtown managers contacted police after an internal audit uncovered an accounting discrepancy.
Police say Castor manipulated computer entries to skim cash from wedding reception deposits.
Castor pleaded no contest to two felony thefts.
