The National Weather Service continues the heat advisory through Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures once again on Tuesday will rise to the upper 90s however high humidity will make it feel like 105 to 110 degrees.
The City of Papillion is pondering a name for the new flood control site northwest of Werner Park.
Right now, it's known as West Papillion Retention Basin and it’s still a work in progress.
The recommendation on the table is to name it the Prairie Queen Recreation Area. Prairie Queen is historically significant. It was the name of a school in the area that dates back to 1884.
The city is expecting the area to eventually boom with development.
