Oh yeah. With all the excitement Wednesday, being the day before Thanksgiving, lost was the fact that the Powerball jackpot drawing was for a quarter-billion dollars. There was no big winner.
This means the jackpot has grown to $325-million for Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.
Wednesday’s jackpot of $250-million produced only two tickets that matched the first five numbers but missed the Powerball number. They were sold in Georgia and New York and are worth $1-million.
The numbers drawn Wednesday night were 8, 18, 24, 30, and 39. The Powerball number was 26.
