Gunshots fired in a Lincoln neighborhood early Friday morning were followed by a brief standoff between police and suspects inside a home.
Police received reports of someone screaming followed by gunshots along the 900 block of Goodhue Boulevard around 12:30 a.m. A witness saw six people run into a nearby house. Officers soon surrounded the residence.
"The cops got here and there was a 20-minute standoff with guns drawn and them trying to get them out of the house and them safe because they didn't know if they had a weapon or not," said witness Josh Garmin.
Police were eventually able to search the home and found a revolver. It’s not yet known if that was the gun that was fired. Two people were arrested on unrelated charges. Twenty-year-old Christopher Bunde was taken into custody on two outstanding misdemeanor warrants and 20-year-old Scott Clausen Jr. was arrested for resisting arrest and failure to comply.
