Omaha police are searching for the man who held up at least one convenience store overnight. In one robbery, the clerk was injured.
Around 3:30 a.m. Monday, a man walked into the Kwik Shop, near 72nd and Crown Point, and demanded cash. The robber hit the store employee with a gun and forced him to open the register. The robber took off with an undetermined amount of money.
The store clerk, a 45-year-old man, was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released for his injuries.
