Multiple agencies are on the lookout for a man who slipped past police at least once Sunday. Investigators say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Around noon on Sunday, officers responded to a burglary in progress near W 14th & N. Keene in Fremont.
Officers saw a man in his early 30's running from the home. They tried to stop him, but he got away in a stolen white 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Officers located the stolen Tahoe a short time later, but the man was already burglarizing another home near Luther Road & Park Place Drive and drove off in white 2013 Jeep Wrangler.
Fremont Police say the Wrangler was later recovered by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office near I-680 and the Mormon Bridge at 8:30 Sunday night.
Lt Kurt Bottorff with the Fremont Police department said a gun was missing from the Jeep.
