A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for northeastern Adair County in Iowa until 7 p.m. Sunday.
Council Bluffs Police have been investigating a report of a car jacking, but after looking into the situation say that was not the case.
Early Tuesday morning, Council Bluffs Police located a car that was reported stolen during a carjacking at a south side convenience store.
According to the victim, he was held up at gunpoint for his green 1998 Chevy Lumina. He tells officers he also had a female passenger in the car with him at the time of the theft.
Police say the victim was arrested on weapons charges.
