A thief steals a laptop but doesn't know he's caught on camera. Now police want our help to track the suspect down.
The man grabs a $500 Toshiba laptop that's attached to a security cable at the Walmart in Gretna. He then stuffs the laptop in a carrying case, which was also stolen from that same store.
But the oddest part of this case is that security footage shows the suspect walking back out of the store empty handed.
"He took the computer and stuck it outside the gate and the lawn and garden department," says Sarpy County detective Joe Benak. "Then he goes to his truck, goes to that spot which is off camera, grabs the computer and got away with it."
