A heartland man has entered a plea of No Contest to a charge of Third Degree Sexual Assault on a Child in a plea deal that saw two First Degree Sexual Assault charges dismissed.
Charles Hardymartin entered the plea to the lesser offense and is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
Last summer, two years after his release in an earlier case, the convicted sex offender was again accused of sexual assaults.
Hardymartin was already on Nebraska's sex offender registry, convicted of sexually assaulting a child four years earlier.
He was then charged with incidents on July 1 and August 10 of 2013.
