Gretna's former city administrator pleaded "no contest" to three criminal complaints Friday. Two of the charges had been reduced from felonies to misdemeanors.
Colleen Lawry is charged with using roughly $650 dollars belonging to the Gretna Senior Center to buy things for herself, knowingly using public funds for her personal use, and lying about taxpayer-reimbursed educational expenses to the tune of just more than $3,250 dollars.
All told, Lawry is accused of Theft by Deception, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Official Misconduct.
The Sarpy County Attorney's office says Lawry's cooperation and the fact she made full restitution led to the plea agreement.
Lawry could serve a maximum of 2 and a half years in jail and/or pay a $3,000 fine. She will be sentenced December 3rd.
