The pilot of a crop dusting plane was able to land safely after severing a power line Tuesday. The incident was reported about 3:30 p.m. near Cozad, Nebraska.
Dawson County sheriff’s department says the plane was spraying a cornfield when it clipped the line. Although the plane sustained minor damage, it was able to fly back to its base at the Cozad airport.
A Dawson Public Power District spokeswoman says about 60 customers lost power for a time.
