Plans are set to demolish Wisner-Pilger Middle School Friday morning. The school was severely damaged when twin tornadoes swept through Pilger in June.
School officials will ask the public to maintain a safe distance from the demolition site when it begins at 8 a.m. Individual bricks from the school will be made available at no cost to Pilger residents and alumni of the school who wish to have a keepsake. They will be piled up in the northwest corner of the school lot.
