A grand reopening was held at the Peter Kiewit Institute at UNO Tuesday. People in attendance could see the renovations that are now complete.
Many conference rooms, study areas, and research areas got a facelift. It’s all part of a $7.5 million dollar renovation project.
The hope is that the renovations will provide a better area for research and attract more students and faculty to the school. UNO’s President J.B. Milliken said, "We think this positions us perfectly to continue to attract the talent that we want here both in the faculty and students. Also to do great research and educate the next generation of entrepreneurs in Omaha and Nebraska."
The renovations were funded by three Omaha foundations.
