Fans of all ages waited in line to get their chance to meet the former Cincinatti Reds great. Rose, who was nicknamed "Charlie Hustle" is the Major League all time leader in hits, but has been kept out of the Baseball Hall of Fame because of accusations of betting on baseball.
But fans came out to see him because of his accomplishments on the field.
I grew up watching him," said Gary Barber of Saginaw, Texas. "[My friend] and I, we were lifelong fans. It's just a shame what's happened to him. It's pretty neat to see him in person."
Rose actually played five different positions during his 24-year playing career. He was also a switch hitter.
