A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to prison after police discovered 40 pounds of pot under the bed of a motor home he was driving through Nebraska.
Twenty-eight-year-old Nicholas Clista, of New Kensington, Pa.,was given one to three years Wednesday on a charge of possession of
more than a pound of marijuana. He had pleaded guilty.
A Nebraska State Patrol trooper stopped Clista in December for veering across a lane on Interstate 80 just west of Lincoln.
Police say a search of the motor home turned up 37 packages of marijuana weighing 40.9 pounds.
Clista's passenger, 30-year-old Matthew Dammond of Verona, Pa.,
is sentenced to a year in jail for attempted possession of more
than a pound of marijuana.
