A pedestrian was seriously injured when she was struck by an SUV Friday night.
Police say 64-year-old Jessie Moreland walked into the street at 24th and L in Omaha just before 8 p.m. when she was hit by a southbound SUV. Moreland was hospitalized with a fractured pelvis and fractured lower limbs.
The driver of the SUV, 56-year-old Antonio Valenzuela of Omaha, was cited for driving during suspension.
