An Omaha man was hospitalized for observation Sunday afternoon after running into a moving car with enough force to break a window.
Witnesses said 28-year-old Manuel Flores ran from the south side of Q Street to the north when he ran into the side of a westbound Mercury Cougar near 30th Street just before 2 p.m., breaking out the rear driver’s side window. Police said he was not in the crosswalk.
Flores, who suffered a cut above the eye, told officers he had been drinking. The 20-year-old driver was not hurt.
