A woman was critically injured when she was struck by a train near the Nebraska-Kansas border Saturday morning.
Twenty-one-year-old Mandy Horvath of Manhattan, Kansas was found under the westbound Union Pacific coal train in Steele City, Nebraska around 2 a.m. She was taken by medical helicopter to a Lincoln hospital for treatment.
Authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor.
