A pedestrian crossing the parking lot to go into a Gretna gas station was hit by a car Tuesday morning.
It happened around 5 a.m. near the Sapp Brothers parking lot. The man said he was crossing the road when he realized a red car wasn't going to stop.
He said the car screeched its wheels as he tried to jump out of the way. He was clipped by the car but refused medical treatment on scene.
The red car was not on the scene when our crews arrived.
